LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - People who visit the Salvation Army for a hot meal may be seeing less than they usually do.
The Salvation Army is experiencing a shortage in their food pantry.
During the summer months, many low-income families visit the Salvation Army because the option for free and reduced school lunch is not available. Some families are even having to make the choice between buying back-to-school supplies or food for the family to eat. As a result, the Salvation Army has been hit hard and they are experiencing a shortage in their food pantry.
They are asking for your help, so that those families who may be having a rough time can be fed.
