LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Changes may be on the way at the Little Rock Zoo; officials are talking about revamping the bird and reptile houses.
They said the structures are old and in need of attention; it's part of a master plan to improve visitor experience.
Susan Altrui with the Little Rock Zoo said they're leaning toward constructing one multi-purpose building.
"I think we're leaning toward making this something that may have some aquatic features of some type. Maybe something that might feature some type of aquarium like features that maybe have some fish in it," she added.
Altrui said the space would include classrooms for their education department.
