LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- It's year two of a unique, dual-sport event and fundraiser for ALS. We're talking about the Lester M. Vahsholtz Bike & Hike.

There is two ways to participate in this event:
Bike & Hike: Bike 20 miles from downtown North Little Rock to Pinnacle Mountain, Hike Pinnacle from east to west, then bike 20 miles back downtown for a total of 40 miles with 3.5 mile hike.
Bike Only: Bike downtown from North Little Rock to the Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Bridge to the first rest stop in Two Rivers Park, then bike back downtown for a total of 20 miles.
Early registration opens July 1st at bikehikeforals.com and is just $35. After early registration, it's $45 for the BIKE and HIKE and $30 for anyone under 18.
Proceeds from the 2013 Bike & Hike will benefit the ALS Association of Arkansas
