2011 Maumelle Diaper Drive
THV11's annual Diaper Drive is taking place Sept. 10 - 24, 2013. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the diaper donation drive.
When does the Diaper Drive take place?
The Diaper Drive officially takes place from Sept. 10-24, however the Rice Depot will accept diapers year-round for families in need.
Where can I drop off diapers?
There are three official Diaper Drives taking place at various Walmart locations in September:
September 10th: Walmart in Cabot
September 17th: Walmart in Bryant
September 24th: Walmart on Highway 65 in Conway
Some churches and organizations are hosting their own diaper drives to benefit the Rice Depot. You may want to check with organizations near you to see if they are hosting drives.
Diapers can also be dropped off at the Rice Depot:
Arkansas Rice Depot: 3801 W 65th Street Little Rock AR 72209
Donations accepted: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
What kind of diapers do you need?
We can use any and all sizes. However, we tend to receive more newborn sizes, so the larger sizes (4,5,6) tend to run out before the small ones.
Can I donate cloth diapers?
Yes, we gladly accept and appreciate all donations. While cloth diapers can be used, something to consider is that most daycares require disposable diapers to be provided by the parents.
Can I donate online?
Sure can! Just click here to make a money donation: http://on.kthv.com/17pog0B
Or you can make donations over the phone by calling (501) 565-8855
Who receives the diapers?
Arkansas Rice Depot distributes the diapers across the state to our Diaper Depot. Those Diaper Depot agencies then provide them to any parent, family or guardian with a baby in need in their community.
How can I receive some of the diapers donated?
