SHANNON HILLS, AR (KTHV)-A Mabelvale woman has been arrested for child endangerment after being stopped on a traffic violation by the Arkansas State Police.
According to Officer Jeremy Brown with the Shannon Hills Police Department, Brianna Mae Allen, 21, was stopped just after noon on Sunday by an Arkansas State trooper for a traffic violation. Allen had an outstanding warrant in Pulaski County and was driving on a suspended license. She informed the trooper that her three children were at home alone in Shannon Hills. When Shannon Hills Police and State Police arrived at Allen's house on Vine Street they found three children ages 1, 2, and 4 crying in the yard.
Allen was taken into custody and charged with three counts of Child Endangerment, Driving on a Suspended License, and Failure to Pay Fine. She is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center on $4,000 bond.
