OUACHITA COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A Morgan Nick Amber Alert is issued for a missing juvenile in Arkansas. Sgt. Vincent Mills said on Monday around 5 p.m., the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing teenager, Kimberly Nussey.
Deputies searched for her Monday evening using search dogs in a nearby wooded area. The 13-year-old reportedly walked from her house on Ouachita County Road 565 to County Road 51, which is about ¼ mile.
Nussey's grandmother felt that she could be with her uncle, Phillip Thomas Nussey, in a white Ford Crown Victoria. The Morgan Nick Amber Alert website states he is 38 years old and stands about 6-feet-tall.
Sgt. Mills said police are not yet sure if this is a runaway situation or a kidnapping.
No one is physically searching the woods for her at this time, as police believe they are now in a vehicle moving.
According to the Morgan Nick Amber Alert website, Nussey was possibly taken against her will, by her uncle, from her mother's house. There is currently a custody battle going on at this time. The missing child is believed to be in imminent danger.
Kimberly was last seen wearing a gray cap with the letter 'A' on it, gray tank top with dogs on it and light purple pants.
