NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Just in time for the holidays, a mother and her daughter received a home for Christmas-courtesy of Habit for Humanity.
Stephanie Stoltz and her 5-year-old daughter, Addie, saw their new home for the first time Saturday as volunteers, including Congressman Tim Griffin, gathered for the heart-warming event.
The new homeowner said she's amazed at all the volunteers who worked to give her such a special gift.
"It was all volunteer work. You know? A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this. Just to think that people would still be willing to give that way to give their time. To give of their sweat-to come together to build a home for someone who really needs it. I'm truly blessed," said Stoltz.
The home took six months to complete.
