LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Crime Victims Assistance Association held a candlelight vigil Thursday night at Clinton Presidential Park.
Kandi Hause, Victim Services Program Coordinator for Little Rock Police, said they wanted to show underserved victims of violence that they're not alone.
"This is the first year we've done this, and we're really hoping to reach out to those communities because not only are they underserved, but they're often under reported as well," she explained.
Hause said a lot of times many of those underserved do not report the crime because they're not sure of the steps they need to take.
The first step, she said, is to call authorities then programs like theirs will reach out.
