Three arrested for stealing car in Benton

    BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - Three people were arrested Wednesday for stealing a vehicle in Benton.

    According to Lt. Kevin Russell, officers responded about 2:45 p.m. on August 21 to a report of a vehicle theft that was taking place at the time. Officers approached the three suspects and the vehicle in question in the 800 block of S. Summit Road. Through investigation, they determined the vehicle was stolen and the three suspects were arrested.

    Zachary Bearden, 20, of Sherwood; Mistie Griffin, 37, of Traskwood; and Delbert Wilson, 43, of Traskwood were charged with Theft of Property. Griffin also had active warrants for his arrest from other law enforcement agencies and Wilson is a parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Correction. Russell said more charges are pending against the suspects.
