BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) -- A former Bryant High School teacher suspected of having sex with a 17-year-old student has been ordered to stand trial.
Prosecutors said Courtney Speer, 31, appeared in Saline County court Monday where a judge ordered her trial to begin in August. She is facing six counts of second-degree sexual assault and has pleaded not guilty.
Speer resigned as an English teacher in October 2012 and was formally charged two days later.
