LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Gun control advocates, including family members of children killed in the Newtown shootings, toured through Arkansas Thursday. The group is making a 25-state tour to read aloud a list of victims of gun violence and make an effort to keep more names from being added to the list.

Carlee Soto, sister to one of the teachers killed in Connecticut last December, faults Congress for not doing enough to change the situation.

"If they had to bury their older sibling, and you know, have to go through what we did, then they would feel very differently about the situation," she said. "I'm 20 years old, and I picked out my older sister's casket. I picked out what my sister will be buried in. No 20-year-old should have to bury their older sister, and I did."

A bill expanding background checks for new gun purchases failed in Congress last month. President Obama and gun control supporters said they plan a new bill soon.
