LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Friday has arrived, and Craig has his list of Winners and Losers. He won't even bring up the Razorbacks, but he is going to bring up Bill Clinton.
The former President met with the college of Cardinals last night... No, the Louisville Cardinal Basketball team. The former President made an appearance in the Cardinals locker room after Louisville's victory in the Big East Basketball Tournament. They get the winners tag, although the photography was a little weird.
Smoke is a winner. Normally smokers are outcasts, but not at the Vatican when the world watched for smoke this week. Where there was smoke, there was a new Pope.
North Little Rock's Allen Engstrom had his iPad stolen. On the surface it would make him a loser until weird pictures started popping up on his family's apple devices, making him a winner. The crazy pictures and the bizarre twist on technology gone haywire has made the Engstrom family national celebrities. This story has gone national.
The California skydiver whose chute deployed too quickly is another loser turned winner. His chute caused him to plummet going 30 miles per hour when he hit the ground. He became a winner with only a dislocated shoulder.
And, here's a Weiner turned loser! The State Board of Education voted to close Weiner High School. Supporters fought to keep it open, but for nought. It will now merge with the Harrisburg School District.
Our final loser is Mark Mihal, of Missouri. He was swallowed up by an 18 foot sinkhole, as in 18 feet deep. They brought him to safety with a rope, and he, too, came away with a dislocated shoulder, but he is the first human hole in one.
