LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. (KTHV) - One airman received a wonderful welcome home from his son.
According to public affairs specialist Arlo Taylor, Senior Airman Thomas Hole, a 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, received the welcome after returning home from deployment to Asia on May 20.
Hole was one of more than 170 Team Little Rock Airmen who were welcomed home by friends and family Monday.
Taylor said that any given time, approximately 600 Airmen are deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base. Since the start of fiscal 2013, Team Little Rock aircrews have flown 8,000-plus sorties airlifting more than 40,000 pounds of cargo, 81,000 passengers and 2,000 patients.
