ROGERS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers will finalize a partnership with the nonprofit Beaver Lake Foundation at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at the Prairie Creek Park Overlook Shelter, 9300 N. Park Road Drive in Rogers, Ark. The public is invited to attend.
Little Rock District Commander Col. Glenn Masset, Chief of Operations Division John Balgavy and Beaver Lake Foundation President Kerry Jensen will sign the agreement formalizing the partnership.
This partnership allows the foundation to assist in meeting the Corps' missions of recreation, natural resources management, and environmental stewardship, along with fundraising and marketing for Beaver Lake's facilities.
The foundation is a group of local individuals that are interested in sustaining Beaver Lake for future generations.
