    Hook-a-Heart Bass Fishing Tournament to be held Aug. 11

    BENTON, Ark (Civitan Services)-The sixth annual Hook-a-Heart Bass Tournament presented by Everett Buick-GMC and benefiting Civitan Services will be August 11th on the Arkansas River with check-in and weigh-in at The North River Landing in North Little Rock. To make sure the tournament is run professionally, Civitan has partnered with Mr. Bass of Arkansas pro/am series director, Ronnie Everett. Everett will serve as the tournament director.

    The tournament is open to all amateur anglers sixteen years and older and there should be two fishers per boat. Entry fee is $100 and will be $125 on tournament day. The tournament begins at 5:30 AM and weigh-in will be at 3:00 PM. The first place team is guaranteed a $1,000 cash prize. Cash and prizes will also be awarded to teams finishing second through fifth place but the total payout will be determined by the number of boat entries. There will also be a cash prize for the biggest bass weighed in for the day.

    The Hook-a-Heart tournament will help raise funds for the preschool and adult programs at Civitan Services. Civitan Services has always been a place of care, support, encouragement, learning and most importantly, love for people with developmental disabilities of all ages.
