A-State women's golf signs Oklahoma standout

    JONESBORO (ASU) - Arkansas State head women's golf coach M.J.?Desbiens Shaw announced Thursday that Hinton, Okla., native Maci Arrington has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Red Wolves next season.

    Arrington is a three-time 2A individual state runner-up and led Hinton High School to the 2A state championship as a junior.

    "Maci will be a great addition to our team next year," said Desbiens Shaw. "I have watched her play for a long time and know she will be a great asset to our golf program. Maci has a lot of experience in national tournaments, and I think she will make an immediate impact on our team."

    Arrington was also part of Oklahoma's state team that won the Southern States Juniors Cup over teams from Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi.
