ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (HSU) -- Henderson State head golf coach Ben Smock announced that Brooke McMillan, Allyson Harris and Jakob Rudbeck have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Reddies beginning in the fall of 2013.

McMillan is a two-time all-state and three-time all-conference selection from Sheridan High School.

This past fall, McMillan claimed the Class 6A South Conference championship and finished fourth overall at the state championships.

"Brooke will bring a tremendous work ethic on and off the golf course," said Smock. "She is an accomplished student and is ranked 16th in her class. Brooke has made great strides in her game over the past three years as she transitioned from softball to golf. She's a good athlete with a great attitude and we're excited she's joining the Lady Reddie family."

Harris is a sophomore at Tyler Junior College where she recently won the TJC Fall Intercollegiate Tournament.

Ranked 14th nationally on the NJCAA level, Harris won two district championships and was a four-time regional qualifier at Nacogdoches (Texas) High School.

"Ally is a superb talent that has gone under the radar as a junior college golfer," Smock said. "Ally has a powerful golf swing that produces a lot of high quality shots. I'm excited to see the impact she makes from day one. She has a bright future with the Lady Reddie program."

Rudbeck comes to Henderson State by way of Ikast, Denmark. A two-time Silkeborg Golf Club Junior Golfer of the Year, Rudbeck has numerous top 10 finishes including second-place finishes at the 2011 Varderame Open and the 2011 Royal Tour III.

In 2012 Rudbeck had an overall scoring average of 74.2 while posting several rounds under par.

Rudbeck placed ninth in the Toya Polish Junior (WJGA) Championships having rounds of 73, 71, and 71. He tied for 15th-place in both the Harder German Open and the Danish International Amateur Championship.

"Jakob brings big tournament experience paired with immense talent to our program," said Smock. "He has a fundamentally sound golf swing and hits a lot of greens. His 9th place finish at the Toya Polish Junior Championship was impressive as he competed against many of the top ranked players in Europe. Jakob has tremendous upside and his game should flourish playing in a warmer climate."
