LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- THV 11's Mark Edwards sits down with former Arkansas Razorback
quarterback Clint Stoerner to analyze this year's quarterbacks headed to
the NFL draft from Arkansas colleges.
University of Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson is entering the 2013 NFL draft with mixed reviews. Many draft analysts felt he would have been a definite first round pick in last year's draft. Wilson, however, decided to return for his senior year.
In his senior season (2012), Wilson completed 62.1% of his passes. He had 3,387 passing yards with 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. The Razorbacks finished the season 4-8.
Arkansas State University quarterback Ryan Aplin is also entering the 2013 NFL draft. Aplin came off the bench as a redshirt freshman to start three of ASU's final four games.
This year, as a senior, Aplin was named to the first-team All-Sun Belt and won conference Player of the Year. He finished the season with 3,323 passing yards with a 67.9% completion rate. He had 24 touchdowns and only four interceptions.
