Harding tennis' Singnil No. 7 in ITA Central region singles rankings

    SEARCY, Ark. (HARDING) - The Harding men's tennis team completed the 2013 season ranked No. 9 in the ITA Division II Central Region Rankings, released Wednesday.

    Harding finished 12-8 overall but lost each of its three Great American Conference matches.

    Bison sophomore Kittibodee Singnil, Harding's No. 1 singles player, moved up six places to No. 7 in the region's singles rankings. Singnil was 9-4 in singles play, including 8-4 at No. 1. He won three of his four matches against regionally-ranked opponents, including a straight-sets victory over No. 2-ranked Marko Baskovic of Ouachita Baptist at the Great American Conference Tournament.

    Singnil and No. 1 doubles partner Jon Mark Rowden are the Central Region's No. 4-ranked doubles team. Singnil and Rowden had a 6-6 record at No. 1 and won two of their three GAC doubles matches.
    The Central Region includes teams from the GAC, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
