KENOSHA, Wisc. (HARDING) - Rowdy Garrett carded a final-round 69 (-3) to finish with a three-round score of 218, tying for 14th place, and Graham Rucker turned in a 74 (+2) to tie for 47th with a three-round score of 224 as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys golf team finished 13th at the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional at the Club at Strawberry Creek.
Jason Purdy shot a 73 (+1) in his final round to turn in a three-round score of 225, finishing tied for 52nd while Brian Belz shot a final-round 76 (+4) to finish with 226, in a tie for 55th place. Dillon Young rounded out the Tech Field, shooting 76 (+4) to finish with a score of 242, tying for 105th place.
With a team score of 893, Tech was 34 strokes off the pace set by overall champion Central Missouri, who joins Central Oklahoma, Missouri-St. Louis, Bellarmine, and Southwestern Oklahoma in the tournament field.
Garrett's 218 placed him 15 strokes behind overall medalist Robby Hughey of Central Missouri, who was -13 for the tournament.
