    UAM baseball all-skills camp set for June 17-20

    MONTICELLO, Ark. (UAM) - University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball coach John Harvey has announced an all-skills camp scheduled for June 17-20, 2013 for children ages 4-14.

    Campers will receive instruction in all areas of the game, including hitting, bunting, sliding, base running, fielding and throwing. Competitive games will also be played. Instructors will include UAM coaches and players, as well as other area coaches.

    Participants ages 4-6 will go from 9-11 a.m. each day, ages 7-10 will go from noon-3 p.m. each day and ages 11-14 will go 3:30-6:30 p.m. each day. The camp will be held at Weevils Field on the UAM campus with the Indoor Practice Facility also to be used in case of inclement weather.

    Camp cost is $50 per participant for ages 4-6 and $80 for all other ages. An additional $10 fee will be assessed for those registering on site. An online registration form as well as a printable version is available.

    Campers will need to bring their own glove, shoes and helmet. A personal bat is also recommended.
