    Turning Arkansas purple in the fight against pancreatic cancer

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Sept. 27, 2012) - Join the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network as they turn the country purple in honor of those that have battled pancreatic cancer. 

    Central Arkansans will be participating in the PanCan Purple Light National Vigil on  Sunday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. at McArthur Park in Little Rock.

    The event program will include a reading of the names of all those who has lost their fight to pancreatic cancer or those who are survivors. Families and friends in attendance will be asked to stand and illuminate their purple glow stick, when their loved one's name is read.

    The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
