LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) is on a mission to improve children's health, development, and well-being through high quality research.

On this Medical Monday, they need help to make it happen.

Dr. Jose Romero is Director of Clinical Trails at ACH and says that clinical trials "help Children's help children."

Types of clinical trials currently enrolling children in for studies are: autism, arthritis, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, food allergy, high blood pressure, infectious disease, nutrition, oncology, pregnancy & healthy children.

People can learn more at archildrens.org/research or you can be notified as new studies become available by texting RESARCH to 772937.

Participating in clinical trials gives families the chance to help produce ground-breaking research about the conditions that affect their children. In some cases, they may benefit by receiving new treatments and therapies.
