For the 21st time, runners and walkers will gather in Downtown Little Rock for the Jingle Bell Run.
The run benefits the Arthritis Foundation of Arkansas, and has become the primary fund raiser for an organization that helps kids with juvenile arthritis fight the daily pain that comes with the ailment.
Going into Saturday, the Foundation had already raised over $67,000, with a goal of $100,000. Even with the fantastic numbers, they need more runners and walkers.
The route takes off from the front of the Clinton Library down to the Broadway Bridge. It takes a right on the bridge and then back through downtown NLR, paralleling the river, until you get to the new Clinton Library foot bridge.
You come across that to complete a scenic walk or run that means so much. Oh, there's also a short walk for kids that goes one mile around the Clinton Library.
Bring your pets. Wear a costume. Come ready to have a good time.
The walk begins at 11a.m. Early registration is 9:30 a.m. in front of the library.
