LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - If you're preparing for a Christmas party, you may have left one part out of the decorations--the master bath. Why would you decorate a master bathroom? Because you might have a party, or family could visit, and who wants a dull bathroom when you're showing off your home?
Every year I do something different to my bathtub. Last year, I filled it up with water and floated white snow, which is kind of like chewed up plastic that you can find in bags at a craft store. I also added some floating votive candles and lit them them during my party. It looked awesome.
This year I had to outdo myself, so I floated glass ornaments left over from last year. They don't sink, and it looks great.
Don't forget about around your bathtub! All I did was take these artificial pine trees and then made great big clusters of ornaments and wired them to the bottom of the tree so it looks like they are exploding with color - then added some Tillandsias. They are a grey-looking, fake plant, so that helps add a little organic feel to it.
Then of course I added three candles in a row because my magic number is always three. Now I have a beautiful look that I can enjoy besides just my guests. The only thing I miss is taking a bath.
