    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Celebrate the Asian New Year with a delicious Asian dish.

    Wilma Houston with Mr. Chen's Authentic Chinese Cooking joined Ashley, Alyse and Tom to demonstrate how to make Emperor's Beef.

    Emperor's Beef

    3 cups beef or port sliced or small chunks
    2 cups Darkon (white radish) peeled and sliced thick
    1 cup quail eggs (optional)
    1 cup baby corn cut up
    ½ cup scallions (green onions) cut 1 inch
    1 tbps minced garlic
    1 tbps minced ginger
    ½ cup soy sauce
    ½ cup Hoisin sauce
    1 cup broth

    Saute garlic, then place beef/pork in and sauté until brown. Pour ½ cup broth and ¼ cup soy sauce and simmer until meat is done.

    Add more broth if necessary. Check to see if meat is tender and add Darkon and simmer until done. Then add remaining ingredients and simmer until heated through.
