Spaghetti Bolognese

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Here is a great recipe for a pasta dish.

    Margaret Pauly with FitNuH will demonstrate this spaghetti bolognese recipe with Ashley, Alyse and Tom.

    Spaghetti Bolognese

    1 pound ground turkey
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup shredded carrots
    1 garlic clove
    1 beef bouillon
    1 tsp dried basil
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp sugar
    2 cans tomato sauce
    1 pound whole wheat spaghetti

    Brown turkey in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any fat off. Add the onion, carrots and garlic. Cook, stirring, about 5 minutes or until the onion is tender. Add the remaining ingredients except for the spaghetti. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Cook spaghetti according to directions on the package. Drain, place in serving bowl and pour sauce on top.

    Makes 6 servings.
