LITTLE ROCK, Ark. ( KTHV) - Christmas is just a few days away, and Santa isn't the only one who is super busy right now. United States Postal Workers, also working at full speed.
Today is the USPS's busiest delivery day for packages, and they will process nearly 365 million packages between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
Arkansas' Customer Relations coordinator, Leisa Tolliver Gay, says that's about a 20 percent increase from last year.
"There's a lot more people shopping online. There's a lot more people doing their ordering off of Amazon, and different places like that, so it's definitely increased," said Gay.
Locally, in Little Rock, USPS expects to process 650,000 cars and 75,000 priority mail packages.
