Earnings report for Arkansas public companies
We'll get more earnings for Arkansas public companies. User care chain America's Car-Mart Inc. of Bentonville and trucking firm Arkansas Best Corp. of Fort Smith both scheduled to report earnings today.
It will be another crucial quarter for Arkansas Best, which is battling to turn its business around.
One development in its favor was its unions employees last month ratifying a new, five-year labor agreement.
Arkansas Best has said that ratifying the agreement would important to its long-term prospects.
For the second quarter, Arkansas Best reported a profit but said that high labor costs were continuing to hurt its business.
