    Marion County makes several arrests

    MARION COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Marion County Sheriff's Office has several people under arrest for charges ranging from sexual assault to drugs.

    On Aug. 25, Candice Byers, 22, of Yellville was arrested for commercial burglary, two counts of felony theft of property and one count misdemeanor theft of property. Her arrest comes from a complaint filed by a local business in which Byers was caught on surveillance video behind the business counter stealing various items including credit cards and other personal belongings from the store clerk's purse. Byers bond was set at $25,000.

    On Aug. 26, Crystal Sewell, 27, of Yellville was arrested for failure to comply with a court order, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing prohibited articles to a correctional facility. Sewell was arrested on the failure to comply warrant and once she was brought to the Marion County Jail, officers found a quantity of meth and multiple baggies were found on her. Sewell is currently being held with no bond.

    On Aug. 27, Danielle Bordeaux, 33, of Springfield, Missouri was arrested on a felony warrant out of Missouri for parole violation, burglary, theft, identity theft, receiving stolen property, forgery and absconding from the state of Missouri. Bordeaux is also charged for obstructing governmental operations, due to lying to the police about her true identity when she was arrested. Bordeaux is still under investigation and could face more felony charges in Arkansas. She is currently in jail awaiting extradition back to Missouri.

    On Aug. 28, Michael Cagle, 21, of Flippin, was arrested for second degree sexual assault. Cagle posted his bond of $15,000 and he is now awaiting his first appearance before the Marion County Circuit Court. The Arkansas State Police assisted in the investigation.

    On Aug. 28, Juan Martinez, 28, of Harrison, was arrested on a Marion County felony warrant for Failing to register as a sex offender. Martinez's posted his bond of $2,500 and he is scheduled to appear the Marion County Circuit Court on September 14, 2011 at 10 a.m.
