CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Police are investigating two very similar burglaries at Dollar Trees in Conway and Maumelle.

According to LaTresha Woodruff with the Conway Police Department, the burglary in Conway happened between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday.

She said the burglar, or burglars, broke into the store through the back door of the building, disabled the cameras, and drilled the safe to get to the cash. They were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Not much information is currently available for the robbery in Maumelle, but Woodruff said the district manager told police that it sounded like the same kind of incident occurred there,

If you have any information on these burglaries, please call the Conway Police Department at (501) 450-6120.
