SHERIDAN, Ark. (KTHV) - Two people are now in the hospital after a stabbing took place in Sheridan.
According to Police Chief Bob Adams, the stabbing happened on 1000 North Red St. around 6:45 p.m. Monday. Adams said the stabbing was the result of an altercation that escalated, and the two that were stabbed may have been the instigators.
Police are currently waiting to speak to the two, but are not able to until their conditions improve. They were taken to a nearby hospital after the stabbing.
Their current condition is still unknown, and their names have yet to be released.
Police said they do know who stabbed them, but that person is not in custody.
