Suspect David Miller caught during home burglary

    BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - Police have arrested a man after a homeowner realized someone was breaking into her home while she was there.

    According to police, David Miller, 35, has been arrested and charged with Residential Burglary, two counts of Theft of Property, Criminal Attempt to Commit Residential Burglary, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespassing, Theft by Receiving, and Unauthorized Use of Another Person's Property to Facilitate a Crime after police found him inside a home on Donna Drive.

    Officers said they found Miller still inside the home with a prescription medicine that belonged to the homeowner on his person.

    Police said the homeowner was in the house when the Miller broke in, but was fortunately unharmed.

    Detectives are diligently working leads in this case and additional charges could be forthcoming as a result.
