LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Little Rock police are still investigating a shooting that left one person injured on Reservoir Road.

The incident was reported about 3:30 p.m. LRPD Sgt. Cassandra Davis said police are investigating the incident at 1815 Reservoir Road in the city.

One victim was found at 1900 Reservoir Road near the Warren Terrace Apartment complex. According to the police report, the victim was a teenager and had been shot in the foot.

At the hospital, a bullet fragment was recovered from the victim's foot.

"I heard three gunshots. 'Bang, bang, bang.' And, within a couple of minutes, there was a bang on my door, and a man came in asking my son and I for help. Could he get help? He said he had been shot," recalled Juliann Atencio, a resident of the neighborhood where the shooting took place.

She said the man that came to her door asked her not to call authorities.

"He said there was some guys in the back that were going to shoot him or kill him or do something. I said no wait a minute. Let me call the ambulance."

The suspect ran away from the scene and has not been found. Davis said he is a black male in his early 20s with a dark complexion standing at 6 feet, 1 inch and weighing around 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black do-rag and a grey and black shirt, and he has a scar above his right eye.

Anyone with information on this case should call the Little Rock Police Dept. at (501) 371-4621.
