BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - Bryant police arrested a man for a shooting that happened at a mobile home park on Friday.

Sgt. Todd Crowson said when officers arrived at Hixon's Mobile Home Park, located along Interstate 30, they found a 37-year-old man on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim said he went to his girlfriend's home at the location out of concern for her. When he got there, he reportedly kicked in the door and got into an argument with the suspect, Andrew Aguilar. Witnesses told police the men began fighting on the porch and then they heard a single gunshot, then Aguilar ran off.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and released. Bryant investigators located Aguilar at his home Tuesday, when they arrested him and took him in for questioning. Aguilar, 34, is charged with First Degree Battery and Carrying a Prohibited Weapon; he is being held at the Saline County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
