LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A traffic accident leads to the arrest of a Cabot man for drugs.
Just before 7:30 a.m. on April 2, a Lonoke County Sheriff's deputy directing traffic at the intersection of N Hwy 31 and Hwy. 38 due to an accident.
A vehicle approached the scene and failed to follow the deputy's direction. The driver told the deputy a false name and was later identified as 20-year-old Kevin Borrensen of Cabot.
Deputies investigated more, and found and seized an estimated ¼ ounce of marijuana and drug related paraphernalia.
Borrensen also had an outstanding arrest warrants from the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office, Saline County Sheriff's Office, Ward Police Department, and Cabot Police Department.
Borrensen was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver's license, no proof on insurance, no seatbelt, no registration, and obstructing governmental operations.
