    Man shot 3 times after car taken at gunpoint

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - One woman has been arrested after an unsuspecting motorist was shot.

    According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis, Millicent McClinton, 23, of Little Rock was arrested and charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Capital Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Kidnapping and Theft of Property on May 1 following a shooting incident on Battery Street.

    Davis said on Jan. 28, McClinton and three men approached a man who was having car trouble, forced him into the back seat of his car and drove him to an unknown area of Battery Street.

    She said once the car had stopped, one of the men pulled out a gun and the car owner tried to fight with him to gain control of the situation he was in. During the fight, the car owner was shot in both legs and the face.

    While McClinton is in custody, police are still looking for the other three men involved.

    The car they were in that night was described as a 2007 Nissan Maxima, which is silver in color and bears an Arkansas license plate with the number 088 OHL. Before being accosted, the driver had parked at a car wash located at the intersection of West Roosevelt Road and South Rock Street in inspect some mechanical problems with his car.
