BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - A 25-year-old Benton man is arrested for breaking into a Subway sandwich shop twice in two days.

A release from the Benton Police Department stated the store, located on Military Road in Benton, was burglarized on June 16 and 17. During the first incident, it was determined an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen, but nothing was stolen during the second occurrence.

Through their investigation, officers identified the suspect as Jesse Blasingame of Benton. Evidence found at the scene linked Blasingame to both crimes and warrants for his arrest were obtained.

He was transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing without incident. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be filed.
