UNDATED (USAToday.com) - The former president of Penn State and two other former top university officials will stand trial for allegedly covering up child sex abuse by Jerry Sandusky, a judge ruled Tuesday.

District Justice William Wenner said there was enough evidence for the former president Graham Spanier, , former vice president Gary Schultz and ex-athletic director Tim Curley to be tried on charges of obstruction of justice, endangering the welfare of children and conspiracy, according to the Associated Press and the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

Sandusky, an assistant football coach under Joe Paterno, is in prison after being convicted last year of 45 counts of child sexual abuse.
