Man arrested in Little Rock shooting on W. 26th St.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Police in Little Rock are investigating a shooting that left one man injured.

    According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis, police responded to a home in the 1600 block of West 26th Street where the found the victim laying on the ground outside. A witness told police that her ex-boyfriend, Johnny Parks, shot him.

    Police said Parks, 49, who had also been shot, was arrested after being treated for his injury, and booked into the Pulaski County Regional Jail for possession of a firearm by certain persons and possession of marijuana.

    Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in a release that first degree battery charges are pending upon further investigation.

    The victim's injuries are non-life threatening, according to police.
