LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A man was arrested on Thursday in connection with a bank robbery that occurred last month.
Detectives have made an arrest in the bank robbery that occurred on November 26th at the U.S. Bank located at 6000 W. Markham. Based on information received, detectives issued a warrant for Mr. Michael Jackson, Jr. and served him with that warrant on Thursday at approximately 2 p.m.
Jackson was arrested for Aggravated Robbery and Theft of Property.
According to a release from Lt. Sidney Allen with Little Rock Police Department, the U.S. Bank, located at 6000 West Markham Street, was robbed about 9:40 a.m. An incident report from the police department stated that the man walked into the bank and talked with a teller about opening an account. As the employee began explaining what he needed to do, the robber reportedly handed her a note that read, "Give me the money." The woman said she handed the robber an undisclosed amount of money while the man kept his hand in his coat pocket as if he was armed with a weapon.
