LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The man accused of killing a teenager while pulling a prank appeared in court Thursday morning asking for his bond to be reduced.

Willie Noble asked a new judge that his bond be reduced from $1 million. A previous judge set the $1 million bail.

After family members testified on Noble's behalf, the new judge cut the bond down to $500,000.

He allegedly shot and killed 15-year old Adrian Broadway last weekend. She and her friends had thrown eggs and leaves on his son's car.

Several of Noble's friends and family showed up to support him. Many of them were visibly unhappy with the judge's decision. Noble's cousin James Burnside testified this morning saying "I know he has remorse. I just think it's just too much. Is the family going to be able to pay that? I'll see what he can get together and do."

Other witnesses include Cory Williams, Noble's friend and the father of one of the teens who was in the car, Helen Noble Evans, his sister, his wife Pamela Noble, who fought back tears on the stand as she spoke about her husband's character, calling him a good man

The prosecuting attorney called Noble's actions a clear disregard of safety.

THV's Macy Jenkins spoke with Noble's attorney Lot Rolfe after court and the next step for Noble is an appearance in circuit court scheduled for May.
