WHITE HALL, Ark. (KTHV) -- Community members rallied to save Redfield Middle School Thursday.

The Task Force has been working to keep the school and held a town hall meeting to discuss their next move. As you may recall, the White Hall School District announced earlier this month that they'll be closing the school at the end of the year for structural and financial reasons.

Todd Dobbins said they're frustrated because they don't feel like they have a voice in the matter.

"We've got to make a decision. Either we're going to have file a suit on that resolution or go after a charter school here in Redfield," said Dobbins.

Dobbins disputed the district's claims about issues with the building. Others also feel that if it's a money problem, they should have done a better job of managing funds.

Students will attend White Hall Junior High School in the fall.
