A team of public defenders say those interviews have violated Curtis Vance's constitutional right to having lawyers with him when questioned by authorities. Lawyers made the claim in a motion filed before Pulaski County Circuit Judge Chris Piazza.
Little Rock police declined to comment about the claim.
Piazza will hear from lawyers in a hearing Tuesday morning.
Vance, 28, of Marianna faces a capital murder charge in the death of Anne Pressly, a morning anchorwoman for Little Rock television station KATV.
