Much attention has been focused on the race for the U.S. Senate seat.

Blanche Lincoln has been talking up her clout in Washington as she visited south Arkansas just days before the Democratic primary.

Lincoln on Saturday visited Hope, Arkadelphia and East Camden with Democratic Congressman Mike Ross. Lincoln is fending off a challenge from Lt. Gov. Bill Halter in Tuesday's primary.

Most polls show her leading Halter, but below the majority vote needed to win the nomination outright. Little Rock businessman D.C. Morrison threatens to win enough votes to force a June 8 runoff between Halter and Lincoln.

On the Republican side, eight candidates will be facing off in the primary. The race includes two current state Senators and a state Representative.

Today we want to know your thoughts on the race.  Could it's outcome affect national politics?  If so, how?

Do you think too much attention and focus has been put on the race?
