Pine Bluff police search for shooting suspects; victim still alive

    Upon arrival the officers observed 38 year old B/M Michael Johnson lying on the porch at 3310 Daffodil bleeding from the upper body. Mr. Johnson advised me he heard a noise outside his house and when he walked out he was shot. Mr. Johnson advised he never saw the person that shot him. EASI medics arrived and transported Johnson to the hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds. Preliminary reports indicate that Mr. Johnson received a gunshot wound to the upper right chest and is in stable condition at the time of this press release.

    A neighbor informed police he was in bed when he heard 3 to 4 gunshots outside. And when he opened his door he found Johnson laying on his porch.

    The officer's discovered the right rear window was busted out of a 2003 Ford Escape and also the left rear window busted out of a 1995 Chevrolet Impala with a brick on the ground beside the cars. There were also multiple expended shell casings littering the found around the cars and into the street.

    No weapon was recovered and Mr. Johnson's assailants are unknown.
