JONESBORO, Ark. (KTHV) -- Jonesboro Police say they have three men in custody in connection with the death of a local businessman.
Just after 3 p.m. on Aug. 24, officers with the Jonesboro Police Department were called to a home on Jennie Drive, just south of Jonesboro after getting a report of an unresponsive man there.
When officers arrived, they found Mar Despain, 34, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police believed his death was a homicide, so while detectives searched the home, officers searched the area for persons of interest.
Wednesday, police announced three arrests in this case. Terrance Odell Barker, 27, of Jonesboro. Police believe he is a "person of interest" seen near the crime scene.
The second arrest is Carl Dwayne Kelley, 58, of Paragould. Kelley is Despain's father-in-law.
The third arrest is Johnny Hubbard, 51, of Jonesboro. He is an acquaintance of Barker.
Jonesboro police say detectives continue to work on this case and "no stone will be left unturned" during the investigation.
