Lois Sandusky in stable condition after hit and run

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A little rock woman remains stable condition with broken ribs and a punctured lung.

    Police said 61-year-old Lois Sandusky was the victim of a hit and run Sunday morning around 9:30 at Beechwood St. and Kavanaugh Blvd. in Hillcrest.

    "There was some witnesses in the area that advised the officers that, as she was in the crosswalk, that an individual making a right hand turn onto Kavanaugh struck Ms. Sandusky," said Sgt. Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department.

    Officers said Sandusky was hit with both the front and rear tires on the truck's right hand side.

    The suspect was driving a white, extended cab Ford F-150 truck with military plates, possibly reading USA AEF. He was said to be 50 to 55 with a grey beard and possibly white hair.
