A book written by Johnny Cash's first wife, Vivian, is being published.
Scribner, a division of Simon & Schuster, says the book "I Walked the Line" by Vivian Liberto Distin will come out on Valentine's Day next year. Its title plays off Cash's hit song "I Walk the Line," which he wrote about Vivian.
The book was written before Distin died last year. It is based on thousands of letters exchanged by the couple before their marriage while Cash was overseas with the Air Force.
The Golden Globe-winning movie "I Walk the Line" released last year focused on the romance of Cash and his second wife, singer June Carter Cash.
Johnny Cash died in 2003. He was born at Kingsland, Ark., and grew up in Dyess.
