LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas' Ethics Commission says Lt. Gov. Mark Darr has signed a settlement letter that would have him pay $11,000 in fines to address complaints against him.

Graham Sloan, the executive director of the panel, released a letter Monday that offered Darr an opportunity to settle claims that Darr misspent campaign funds and failed to keep complete records.

The Ethics Commission proposed sanctions of $1,000 each for 11 violations and said that, by signing, Darr was agreeing with the panel's findings.

Sloan released a copy of the letter counter-signed by Darr, plus a two-page letter from Darr.

Darr lawyer Dan Greenberg did not return a message left by email.
